Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Sign up with Apple, Google, or email and password. You can create an account directly from the app when you first open it.
Is the app free?
Yes, Mantle is completely free (for a limited time). There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, or hidden fees.
Is Mantle available on Android?
Not yet. Mantle is currently available on iOS only. Android support is planned for a future release.
How long does setup take?
Under 2 minutes. Enter your address, select your home systems, and your personalized maintenance schedule is generated instantly.
Your Schedule
How is my maintenance schedule created?
Our AI analyzes your home's location, age, climate, and installed systems to generate a personalized set of maintenance tasks with appropriate frequencies and seasonal timing.
Can I add my own tasks?
Yes. You can add custom tasks with all the same fields as AI-generated ones, including descriptions, instructions, supplies, cost estimates, and recurrence schedules.
What happens when I complete a task?
The task is marked as done and automatically advances to its next due date based on its recurrence schedule.
Can I skip or reschedule a task?
Yes. Skipping a task defers it to the next scheduled occurrence. Rescheduling lets you pick a specific new date.
Can I disable a task I don't need?
Yes. Disabled tasks are hidden from your active schedule and won't generate notifications. You can re-enable them at any time.
Can I see tasks I've already completed?
Yes. On the Schedule tab, completed tasks are shown with a checkmark. You can scroll back through your schedule to see your full maintenance history.
What information is included in each task?
Each task includes a description of why it matters, step-by-step DIY instructions, a list of supplies you'll need, and estimated time and cost. You can also link professional contacts to a task and add your own notes.
Home & Systems
Can I edit my home systems after setup?
Yes. Go to My Home to add or remove systems at any time. Your maintenance tasks will automatically update to reflect the changes.
What if I change the year my home was built?
Your AI-generated tasks will be regenerated based on the updated home age to ensure recommendations are accurate for your property.
Can I manage multiple homes?
Yes. Each home has its own separate schedule, tasks, household members, and professional contacts. Switch between homes from the home selector.
Can I delete a home?
Yes. Go to My Home, tap on Edit next to the home address, then tap Delete Home. This permanently removes the home along with its schedule, tasks, household members, and professional contacts. This action cannot be undone.
Household Sharing
How do I invite someone to my home?
Go to My Home, then Household, then tap Invite. You can send an invitation by email to anyone you'd like to join your home.
What can household members do?
Members can view all tasks, mark them as complete, skip or reschedule tasks, and add professional contacts. The home owner retains full control over membership and settings.
Can I remove a household member?
Yes. Home owners can remove any member from the household at any time via My Home.
Professional Contacts
How do I add a contractor?
Go to the Pros tab and tap the add button. You can search for local businesses or add a contractor manually with their name, phone number, and specialty.
Can I assign a pro to a task?
Yes. From any task detail screen, you can link up to 5 professional contacts. This makes it easy to remember who to call for each type of maintenance.
Can I delete a pro?
Yes. Go to Pros, tap on the pro in your contacts list to view pro details, then tap Delete Pro. This removes them from your contacts permanently, but does not affect any tasks they were previously linked to.
Notifications
How do I turn on task reminders?
When you first use the app, Mantle will ask for permission to send notifications. If you declined, you can enable them anytime in your iPhone Settings under Notifications > Mantle. You can also manage reminder preferences within the app under My Home > Settings.
What is the weekly digest?
The weekly digest is a push notification sent once a week that previews your upcoming maintenance tasks — a quick at-a-glance summary so nothing catches you off guard. You can enable or disable it in My Home > Settings.
Account & Privacy
Is my data private?
Yes. We do not sell or share your personal data. Your information is only used to provide and improve the Mantle service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at trymantleapp@gmail.com and we will delete your account and all associated data.
How do I sign out?
Go to My Home, then Settings, then tap Sign out.
